On Sunday the 6th of February about ten people came along to muck in with general weeding as well as planting some currant bushes. We also installed some raised beds with wooden edging in the veg patches (see pic). This should suppress the weeds and provide a better growing medium for whatever we plant in the Spring. It will also make it easier to manage a rotation of vegetable types. Any suggestions for getting funding for more soil would be greatly appreciated!We'll be arranging a 'spring planting' planning meeting in the Old White Lion very soon. Watch this space.....
